ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MANY LETTERS OF APPRECIATION THAT WE’VE
RECEIVED OVER THE YEARS FROM OUR CLIENTS.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On March 4, 2001, my friend, four
small children and I were leaving OMSI when we realized that
we had a flat tire. Things didn't get better when it started
to rain and we realized we could not get to our spare tire
(rusty bolt). We called to a security guard that was in the
parking lot, to see if he could assist us in any way. Mr.
Jim Campbell went above and beyond for us. He not only helped
us get the tire out of the trunk, he also helped by letting
us use his personal jack, and assisted with the changing of
the tire. When he heard we planned on driving back to Eugene,
and all we had was the "donut" spare tire, he informed
us of the danger and directed us to where the best chances
of finding a business that would be open on a Sunday to repair
the tire.
I just want to make sure he is recognized
for also helping people personally, rather than just making
sure cars are not vandalized, etc. He was an extreme help
to us on that rainy miserable day. We would have been stranded
for quite awhile without his help. Thank you for hiring such
a considerate employee.
Sincerely,
Kathy Derby

I am writing to compliment one of
your employees who provided excellent service to my company.
We were scheduled to provide music for a wedding reception
yesterday. The event was to take place on the Sternwheeler
Rose tour boat, which docks at OMSI.
I had a whole van full of equipment
that I needed to load on the boat. I was able to pull my van
up to the ramp that leads down to the dock. Since there were
a number of people around, I did not want to leave my van
open while I moved equipment down the long ramp to the boat.
Robert Mooney of your company was
patrolling the area on behalf of OMSI. He stayed with my van
while I loaded the equipment on the boat. When the event was
over, about 10pm, Mr. Mooney again watched my van while I
loaded the equipment back into the van.
Mr. Mooney's exceptional customer
service saved me time and made my job a lot easier. I am most
appreciative of his assistance and wanted to call it to your
attention. You are fortunate to have such a good employee
on your team.
Thank you for your excellent service.
Yours Truly,

The recent upheaval of threats against
ODOT-MCTD staff members was a trying time for the employees
here in the PUC building. Mr. John Edwards, the security staff
person assigned to the PUC building, helped tremendously to
ease tensions.
Mr. Edwards's pleasant manner to
the employees and professional, but polite, manner in dealing
with the public has made this unsettling time a little easier.
I wish to extend my thanks to Mr.
Edwards and your company for making me feel safer in my work
place.

Once again, it's my turn to thank
you for yet another "job well done". It's reassuring
to know that an organization such as yours is here for us
"little people", considering the growth in Salem
and our over-taxed police force.
I definitely want to know that your
patrol units are there for us if we need them, and am writing
today to request that service.
I will pass along the number to
our rental support staff and let them know that it is there
for them should the need arise.
Thanks again for your assistance
Saturday night and always.
Sincerely,
Judy Claus

On April 23 of this year there was
an incident at MaPS Credit Union that required additional
security coverage on very short notice. Kimberly Patten at
your Salem office was contacted about 9:30a.m. with a request
for an officer to be at our Chemeketa Branch ASAP. Corporal
Dick Smith was called in from off-duty and dispatched to cover
the branch until after closing. During his shift he was able
to assist in handling the anticipated confrontation, and did
so with professionalism and authority. We asked for additional
coverage for the following Saturday and Monday. Corporal Tim
Purcell was on duty both days. Our Members were not aware
of the reason for the additional security; however, several
expressed an appreciation for the comfort they felt since
our need was during the same week as the incident in Littleton,
Colorado.
We want to express our appreciation
to Kimberly and officers Smith and Purcell for the efficient
and professional manner in which they responded to the needs
of our business. We feel they played a key role in keeping
a potentially volatile situation under control and helping
our staff and members feel secure while they handled their
tasks.
We want to formally thank Advance
Security and staff for their work on our behalf.
Sincerely,

Re: Commendation for Brian Rogers
and Joe Simmons
I would like to take this opportunity
to commend two of your staff for their alertness and excellent
work. The two security officers are Brian Rogers and Joe Simmons.
Due to their keen observation and rapid response what could
have been a major loss for ODOT was limited to a localized
fire and flooding in a corner of our training center on 19th
Street. They observed smoke coming from the roof on a rainy
and stormy night and quickly reported the fire thereby preventing
major damage.
I addition, their willingness to
provide extra patrols, return after emergency repairs were
completed, and secure the building made it much easier for
us to deal with this situation.
We have always had good service
from your crew, but this was excellent service and very much
appreciated by us and the staff at the Training Center as
it minimized the disruption to their work in a busy holiday
season.
Please pass along our heartfelt
thanks to these two fine individuals.
Very truly yours,
Mark W. Hohlt

On behalf of everyone a Carr Chevy
World, I want to thank you for all of the time, effort and
advice you gave for the Dale Earnhardt appearance. Even though
I was not here, I understand your crew went a long way in
ensuring that we had a safe and successful event. Your company
showed the utmost professionalism and tact. And you are to
be commended on running a first rate operation.
I think everyone involved with the
event agrees that it was a huge success. Dale serves as an
excellent ambassador for the sport of racing… his ready
smile and enthusiasm for the fans was readily apparent, especially
for the children in the crowd. It is nice to know that there
are still sports stars who understand and appreciate their
status as a role model.
Thank you again for your help. If
there is anything I can do for you in the future, please do
not hesitate to give me a call.
Best regards,
Bradley Preble
